Richard Ollis LL.B, T.E.P. - Notary Public
My full name is Richard William Ollis. I attended Stockport Grammar and Solihull School and studied law at Leeds University. I am a solicitor and a Notary Public, having qualified in the latter capacity through a combination of my degree and, more recently, a Post Graduate Diploma in Notarial Practice, awarded by the University of Cambridge.
I am also a founder member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
My wife, Isobel, and I live close to Warwick and have a daughter and three grandchildren, who, for reasons best known to them, have always lovingly referred to me as “Grandpa Dodo” - the first reason for my choosing to include the image of that, now extinct, bird in my Notary Public seal.
The second is our love for Mauritius and its delightful people. As you probably know, the dodo is the national symbol for that paradise island.
You may rest assured that there is no connection whatsoever between the bird and either my age or the proximity of my own extinction!
I am a retired partner of, and now a consultant with, Lodders Solicitors LLP, which has offices in Stratford-upon-Avon, Henley-in-Arden and Cheltenham. My practice as a Notary Public is conducted exclusively from the Stratford-upon-Avon office, where adequate car parking is available.
